And, in the middle of June, we announced our three winners of 2016. Our winners show us two big things –
With that said, our top-3 are the following -
Augmented Reality Immersion. Arturo Moreno showcased Softtek’s potential as an augmented reality services partner for the many manufacturing, labor-focused industries in which Softtek serves. With the imploding augmented reality market, IT services companies are forced to create a new set of capabilities to remain competitive. Unlike the other ventures, Arturo’s initiative enters Softtek’s newly found Engineering Lab, where his idea will be developed before finding a market.
OBApp. Julio Santos is one of Softtek’s seasoned intrapreneurs. It’s not apparent why Softtek would enter the onboarding software market, which is already overpopulated with a diverse range of solutions. And yet, Softtek feels that our software – developed with years of experience behind us and in partnership with our customers – we can create a product that is differentiated enough.
Short Services. This is perhaps the most interesting direction. As a new set of capabilities, Softtek will offer quick-development services and solutions through a platform. This paves the way to keep our associates engaged through the year and in between projects. And, with the growing demand for short-outsourced-services and Softtek’s wide range of competences, this platform will serve a wide, global market.
We are very hopeful with all our projects for 2016. Our plan for the coming year is different from the years before. Stories of success will emerge through the year and we couldn’t be more excited!
