What a treat to have Blanca Treviño speak of the FIRE that fuels Softtek! It’s the passion that our associates bring that keeps the fire alive - it’s the unshakable belief in innovation and entrepreneurship – it’s the hunger to be more and do more – it’s the desire to contribute to a better Mexico – it’s a goal to actively disrupt industries - all of that, and then some.
Innoventures, in some capacity, we hope, will contribute to spreading the FIRE across the diverse geography of Softtek. It’s our platform that has the capability of bringing people across countries together, with a common purpose to purely innovate. As we develop a community of innovators and entrepreneurs, we bring a new language and common thread that ties the organization together. Today, we, too, feel a stronger connection with the organization in which we are housed.
Yesterday’s WebEx sessions provided valuable learning points. I read a piece on HBR recently on what it means for a leader to be strategically fit across changing dynamics of an organization and industries. To that end, when we heard the powers of Blanca and Alex Camino yesterday, we could hear voices of driven entrepreneurs and ambitious, mature business leaders all at once. The same entrepreneurs who had once come together to form a young company in Mexico, now lead the largest IT services company in LatAm. The strategically fit aspect – the ability to assess a company at any given moment and chart of unique course of action is what distinguishes our leadership body.
Innoventures Idea Submissions phase is now in full swing. Exciting new ideas come through our Gust-doors. We talk to intrapreneurs with ideas and visions. We engage in brainstorming sessions with leaders and associates. There’s a general sense of a new kind of innovation coming to Softtek. Wish us luck!
